Lost
I conceptualized and designed this book to explore the profound questions that arise when someone feels lost within themselves. The book serves as both a visual and tactile representation of comfort, reflecting the way we seek familiarity and security in moments of uncertainty. My decision to use fabric as a core element of the design was a deliberate nod to the security blankets many of us clung to as children—objects that provided warmth, reassurance, and a sense of safety. By incorporating this soft, familiar material, the book invites the reader to engage with it on a sensory level, reinforcing its emotional depth. Additionally, the typography was intentionally crafted to mimic a childlike aesthetic, emphasizing themes of nostalgia, innocence, and introspection. Every design choice was made to create an experience that is not just read but deeply felt.
